WHAT MAKES OUR RUGS LIQUID REPELLENT AND STAIN-RESISTANT?
WHAT MAKES OUR RUGS LIQUID REPELLENT AND STAIN-RESISTANT?
Our "nanoWipe" technology coats each fiber of every single one of our rugs making it both a liquid repellent rug and stain-resistant rug. This is why you will see liquid spills bead up on the rug rather than get absorbed and stain it. Spills can simply be wiped off as shown below.
Certified Safe by OEKO-TEX - 17.HTR.28311
Certifications from third parties on the materials used to create our wipe-clean rugs are a useful tool for both our company, as well as you, our customer.
The textile coating (Hybrid Nano Silica Fusion Technology) used on our machine washable rugs has undergone rigorous testing and has been certified by the world-renowned organisation, OEKO-TEX. OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are lawfully required to have a skin friendly pH, so you can rest assured that you will be comfortable while ensuring that your rug is not vulnerable to bacteria.
The OEKO-TEX certification guarantees that there are no harmful effects on humans or the environment that has been treated with our Everklean technology.
Please note that this certification is not an organic certification and that products that are made from plastic yarn (ie. polyester, nylon and acrylic) are permitted.

How do I wash my rug?
The best part about our rugs is how low maintenance they are! We understand that our customers lead busy lives and our aim is to make your life as easy as possible. Cleaning your machine washable rug is as easy as one, two, three!
If you have any stains on your rug, here are our pre-wash stain removal tips for you. If you need some information regarding your washing machine and our rugs, you can find our guide here.
Step 1
Vacuum thoroughly and shake off all excess dirt and dust off your rug to guarantee the best wash possible. The more dirt you can get off your rug before washing, the better!
Step 2
Place the washable rug in your washer, add in your detergent, using the delicate setting and cold water only you are now ready to wash your rug. Maximum water temperature should be 30 degrees Celsius / 86 degrees fahrenheit. For best results we do not recommend using harsh chemicals such as bleach or fabric softeners as it can damage your gorgeous rug - we like to keep it simple!
Step 3
Now that the washing is done, air-drying your rug out of direct sunlight is the best way to get it dry. To avoid any color fading, we recommend drying your rug with the backing facing up. We do not recommend machine drying or ironing your rug as this can cause the rug to shrink or can damage the backing.
